Oct 20, 2024. #6. i had the ibanez as153 and i own a 535. the 153 is an upgraded model over the as80.the 153 while a very good instrument felt less substantial then the 535 and tonally was a much brighter and thinner sounding instrument. i much prefer the heritage.
